Tampa Bay Skirt!'s Hitting the Radio Saturday

One of our recently featured She's So Skirt! women Brenda Martin launched a brand new radio show last month with her co-host and former WQYK radio personality Rita Ciccarello. The show , Something's Brewing on the Radio, is specifically designed for women and about women (much like skirt!), and guess who will be on this week's show which airs Saturdays from 9-10am?

Life As a One-Car Family

I always wondered how much money my husband and I would save if we had just one car between us, especially since I now work from home as a freelance writer. Less gas, fewer miles, reduced bills from needless road trips, lower car insurance.

Dirty Laundry and Then Some

I'm still reeling. A friend of mine recently announced on her Facebook account that her long-time, live-in boyfriend had cheated on her with a married woman. Well, she said this with much more descriptive expletives and plenty of alliterative F-bombs but I'll leave that to your own imagination.

I read this dumbfounded as my jaw hit the floor. THUD.

What do you say to that? Fifty-something other people seemed to know what to say and left comments of support and encouragement to hit the ground running without looking back. Me? Not a clue what to put.

Favorite Music: Just about nearly anything old or new - rock oldies, British invasion, new wave 80s, garage band 90s, you name it. Currently, really digging on Green Day, Snow Patrol, A Fine Frenzy, The Killers and Elvis Costello.
