Show Your Bling

Just wanted to pass along some info about a special event that I’m happy to be a part of tonight and here’s the best part of all. Guests get to attend in comfy blue jeans! (My kind of party...hurrah!)

Tonight, Maria Kletchka, a Westchase realtor, is hosting the 2nd Annual Blue Jeans and Bling Gala. I didn’t get a chance to attend last year’s event, but I’m looking forward to checking out the fun this year. Guests don their favorite jeans and jewelry and head over to the Stone Chase Restaurant at 12227 W. Linebaugh Ave. for some delicious food, cocktails, raffles and great music, and proceeds benefit The Spring of Tampa Bay Women’s Shelter in Tampa. Plus, there will be a truck available on the premises for guests to donate items from The Spring’s Wish List. Items on this list include:

• Women’s and children’s toiletries
• Towels, washcloths and twin sheets
• Makeup and hair care products
• Baby formula, wipes, diapers and food
• Cleaning and laundry supplies
• Craft items for kids
• Women’s and children’s clothing (new or gently used)
• Snacks

The party starts at 7pm and runs through 10pm. Tickets are $35. If you decide to join us and you see my trusty little skirt! nametag, please stop by and say hello. This shy wallflower is flying solo and would welcome the company!
