Yep, that’s right. Men.

We are going to be profiling in our July issue (The “F” Word), men in the Tampa Bay area who consider themselves feminists.

I am asking our male feminist friends to complete the following sentence: “I’m a feminist, because...” in 50 words or less. If selected, they will be spotlighted in our July issue with their words and photo (and no, they won’t be asked to wear a skirt.)

Maybe it’s the issue of pay inequality that’s got them rumbling. Perhaps it’s a perspective that a woman can do the job as well as a man...whatever the reason, we want to hear from these men.

So if you know someone who fits this profile perfectly, please email me at ckuhn@tampabayskirt.com. I’ll need the man’s name, phone number and email address, and your reasons for suggesting them. Or have your friend contact me directly with his information and "I'm a feminist, because" entry. I’ll be accepting entries through May 16!
