A Dream Play Experience feminist playwright Caryl Churchill’s adaptation of A Dream Play, being performed by the JobSite Theater in the Shimberg Playhouse at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. The surrealistic play by August Strindberg transports audiences into the dream of a girl from another world. Tickets, $24.50. The event, hosted by the Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project, features a series of comedy sketches about a group of colorful characters coming of age. Proceeds from the event will benefit ASAP (AIDS Service Association of Pinellas), an organization that provides services to people living with HIV and AIDS. $15.
