Relay for Life

Honor those touched by cancer and raise money for the fight against the disease at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life to be held at the following Pinellas location: Largo High School at 410 Missouri Ave. in Largo. Teams of 10-15 participants can walk or run; others may participate in other fun activities at the track. Starts Friday, May 9 at 6pm and runs through Saturday, May 10 at noon. 727.546.9822.

Miles for Moffitt

Lace up your sneakers for Miles for Moffitt at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa. Take part in a 5k run or 1-mile run/walk for all age groups. Fees vary by races with proceeds supporting the Moffitt Cancer Center. Register at 6am, race at 7:30am. milesformoffit.com.

Arthritis Walk

Walk to raise funds and awarness of the battle against arthritis at the Arthritis Walk beind held at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Participants will earn prizes based on funds raised, and anyone raising more than $100 receives a T-shirt. Dogs are welcomes to join walkers. 8am. arthritis.org.
